Abstract: Wix is a platform for creating high quality Flash websites and other Web content faster, easier and search engine friendly. At the heart of Wix is a intuitive drag and drop editor based on Flash and Flex. Wix's business model is "Freemium" - a basic acount and access to the editor is free of charge. While this option enables content owners to build Flash based websites with ease, extra features are available in the Premium plan. Wix was launched on February 28, 2006, by Giora Kaplan, Avishai Abrahami and Nadav Abrahami.
