Ray
Abstract: Ray is an integrated, pocket-sized device that supports the community of visually impaired people in their daily life. Ray leverages latest technologies to increase independence, enrich social life, and improve accessibility of essential internet services for the visually impaired. Ray is based on an, off-the-shelf smartphone device that is equipped with the companies customized Android operating system, and includes an application platform that is governed by a single set of simplified controls.
