Oded Hermoni Appointed head of Israel High Tech Industry Association
Oded Hermoni, VP of business development at Meytag High-Tech Ventures, has been appointed as the new head of the Israeli High Tech Industry Association – a body that aims to unite all facets of the Israeli Hi Tech ecosystem under one roof.
Hermoni is known in the industry mostly through his career in journalism: he was a senior hi-tech and venture capital writer for Ha’aretz and later editor of the popular tech, venture capital and consumer electronics (“Captain Internet”) and Communication sections at “TheMarker”.
In the past few years, Hermoni had his share in his own ventures. He was s a co-founder and chairman of the Israeli Web site for matching households and maids and holds his current position at Meytag for the last 4 years.
He replaces Yifat Adoram who held the position for over two and a half years.
The Israeli Hi Tech Association is an incarnation of the Israeli Venture Association. It brings together startup companies, investors, venture capital firms, entrepreneurs, international technological companies and other industry affiliates.
