Neatcall’s iPhone App: It’s All About Timing
Neatcall, an Israeli provider of mobile and web collaboration tools, has launched an iPhone application for scheduling and making conference calls. In the crowded iPhone app market, this software stands out with two advantages: supporting multiple platforms and finding the best time slot for the conference.
The support of multiple platforms is seen in many aspects. Users of this application can schedule different kinds of meetings: video-conference, audio-conference, textual chat, phone call and even face-to-face meetings. Neatcall’s system can be accessed in various ways: a web interface, SMS and email.
The system suggest the optimal time slots for all the participants. This is another advantage Neatcall offers.
Scheduling the conference is supported via various calendar tools: Lotus Notes, Microsoft Outlook, Google Calendar, Yahoo Calendar and Apple iCal of course. When it’s time for making the conference, Neatcall offer its own networking services as well as Skype, Citrix GoToMeeting, Cisco Webex, ATT Connect, Google Talk, Microsoft LiveMeeting, Messenger and many more.
While this technology is pending a patent and might be very unique indeed, Neatcall provides the application free of charge. A lot of time passed since Apple opened up the iPhone marketplace, and there’s a vast amount of applications asking the users to download them. Will their edge be noticed by the masses?
